About Green Line

The Green Line runs north-south across Bangalore for 30.5 km, connecting the industrial areas of Madavara and Nagasandra in the north to the southern residential belt of Silk Institute. It serves 32 stations and is a critical link for commuters travelling between North and South Bangalore.

The Green Line connects Yeshwanthpur railway junction, the bustling Sampige Road and Chickpete commercial districts, the historic KR Market area, Lalbagh Botanical Garden, and the busy Banashankari and Jayanagar neighbourhoods. It interchanges with the Purple Line at Kempegowda Majestic and with the Yellow Line at RV Road.
