About Yellow Line

The Yellow Line is the newest addition to Bangalore's metro network, running 37.5 km from RV Road in the south to Bommasandra near Electronic City. With 16 stations, it directly serves the massive Electronic City tech corridor — one of Asia's largest IT clusters — drastically cutting commute times for lakhs of tech workers.

The Yellow Line passes through key junctions like Jayadeva Hospital, Silk Board (one of Bangalore's most congested intersections), and then runs through the heart of Electronic City with stops at Infosys Foundation, Biocon Hebbagodi, and Bommasandra. The RV Road interchange connects it to the Green Line, giving access to the entire north-south and east-west metro network.
